Ebonerds began to really become special in 80's. Their failed attempts at being cool in the 1970's had given them the inspiration to create their own style. Of course this brought about new humiliation as others in the black community were maintaining their "cool" despite a radical change in music and art. However, the Ebonerds would not be denied their moment in the spotlight.
